Medical Disclaimer

Last updated: September 2026

The articles, service descriptions, exercise guidance and answers published on https://www.thernbclinic.com are written to help people in Ranchi and across Jharkhand understand common musculoskeletal and neurological problems and what physiotherapy can and cannot do about them. They are general health education. They are not a diagnosis, not a treatment plan, and not a substitute for being assessed in person by a qualified clinician.

1. No Doctor-Patient Relationship

Reading this website, downloading anything from it, or sending us a message through a form does not create a clinician-patient relationship. That relationship begins only when you attend an appointment and are assessed by one of our therapists in person.

2. Why General Advice Cannot Replace an Assessment

Two people with what looks like the same complaint, for example lower back pain or a painful shoulder, often need quite different treatment. The right plan depends on your history, what a physical examination finds, your other medical conditions, your medication, your work and what you are trying to get back to. None of that can be established through a web page.

For the same reason, exercises described in our articles are examples of what is commonly used for a given problem. They are not prescribed for you. An exercise that helps one person can aggravate another person with a similar-sounding complaint.

3. No Guaranteed Outcomes

We do not promise cures, fixed recovery timelines or guaranteed results, on this website or in the clinic. Where our content mentions typical recovery patterns, those are general observations from clinical practice and published evidence, not a prediction about you. Recovery varies between individuals, and some conditions are managed rather than resolved.

4. When to Seek Medical Care First

Physiotherapy is not the right first step for every symptom. Please see a doctor, or go to an emergency department, rather than booking physiotherapy, if you have:

  • chest pain, breathlessness, or symptoms of a stroke such as sudden facial droop, weakness on one side, or difficulty speaking
  • severe pain after a significant fall, road accident or other major injury, or a suspected fracture
  • loss of bladder or bowel control, or numbness around the groin or inner thighs, alongside back pain
  • unexplained weight loss, fever, or night pain that wakes you and does not settle with position change
  • a limb that is hot, red and swollen, or that has lost its pulse, colour or sensation
  • rapidly worsening weakness in an arm or leg

If you are unsure, contact us and ask. We would rather redirect you to a doctor than treat something that needs a different kind of care.

5. Do Not Delay or Disregard Medical Advice

Never disregard advice from your doctor, surgeon or other qualified professional, and never delay seeking it, because of something you read here. If your surgeon or physician has given you post-operative restrictions, those instructions take precedence over anything on this website.

6. External Links and Advertising

Some articles link to external resources such as research summaries or patient information from other organisations. We link to them because we consider them useful, but we do not control their content and are not responsible for it.

This website also displays third-party advertising. Adverts are selected by the ad network, not by the clinic, and their appearance here is not a clinical recommendation or endorsement of any product, service, provider or treatment. See our Privacy Policy for how advertising cookies are used.

7. Accuracy and Updates

Our clinical content is written and reviewed by our physiotherapy team and updated as practice changes. Even so, health information dates, and an article may not reflect the most recent evidence at the moment you read it. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, please tell us and we will review it.
